Zaxby’s Assistant Manager will assist the General Manager in achieving goals related to sales, costs, profits, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
Assistant Manager Job Description:
Essential duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times. – Promote and reflect a positive work environment.
- Ensure all menu items are consistently prepared and served according to Zaxby's standards.
- Lead team members and shift managers with a positive and effective attitude.
- Provide training to team members in the areas of food preparation, service, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Order and control inventory by forecasting and referring to past data.
- Increase sales by providing a great product along with great customer service
Requirements
Assistant Manager Experience and Training Guidelines:
- Age Requirement: at least 18 years old
- Education:High School Diploma or GED
- Citizenship Requirements: Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Experience Requirements: At least one year of management experience.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment; work with computer and office equipment
- Restaurant environment; work with advanced kitchen and front-of-house operational equipment; hazardous conditions
