Position Summary:
Perform functions to manage measurement service operations and Enhanced Services employees in the Metrology Service Center, provide metrology programming as a service, and measure customer parts in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

Essential Job Responsibilities
1. Manage measurement service operations and Enhanced Services employees at the Metrology Service Center.
2. Participate in the development of departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
3. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and the Quality Manual.
4. Participate in development of measurement parts programs using Mitutoyo software and metrology equipment, including coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision systems, and form instruments.
5. Develop and implement measurement methods based on engineering design (GD&T) and available equipment.
6. Perform part inspections, analyze measurement data, and prepare reports in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
7. Train and mentor metrology programmers and technicians.
8. Communicate with customers and support quotation activities for metrology programming and measurement services.
9. Partner with the Sales Department to support product demonstrations, customer training, and open house events at the facility.
10. Maintain control and calibration of all measuring equipment in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, in collaboration with the Corporate Quality Manager.
11. Assist with the preparation and submission of departmental reports.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Monday – Friday 8:30 am 5:00 pm.
Travel: Up to 25%
Required Education and Experience: Minimum 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience. 4-year technical degree preferred. 7-10 years of experience as a Programmer. Proficient in three product lines.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervising Enhanced Services employees assigned to the Metrology Service Center. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and performance evaluation, as well as enforcing company policies, setting performance standards, and resolving routine operational issues.
