HR Technology & Shared Services Portfolio Manager

Job Summary

The HR Technology & Shared Services Portfolio Manager is responsible for coordinating the intake, planning, and delivery mechanisms of HR technology and shared services initiatives. This leader will work closely with a range of HR and business stakeholders to understand challenges and needs, facilitating connections to possible HR technology solutions or service offerings. The role will also be responsible for performance tracking (SLAs/benefits realization) of projects, while championing employee experience, process excellence, and data integrity.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the intake processes for new HR Technology & Shared Services requests, ensuring business challenges, scope, and alignment to strategic priorities are captured.
  • Support ongoing updates to the integrated HR Technology & Shared Services roadmap, balancing strategic initiatives, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify dependencies, capacity constraints, and risks; recommending sequencing options that optimize delivery and resource utilization.
  • Lead planning sessions as needed to translate demand into actionable workplans based on team capacity and availability.
  • Provide flexible project management capability to deliver prioritized initiatives, working across teams to remove impediments and ensure quality.
  • Define and track, and benefits realization for initiatives including cost savings, efficiency gains, experience improvements, and/or compliance outcomes.
  • Track performance metrics across the portfolio (delivery KPIs, operational SLAs, adoption indicators, capacity/cycle times).
  • Prepare dashboards and insights for leadership, governance forums, and HR stakeholders.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Certification / Licensure

Work Experience

At least 4 years of experience in HR technology, HR shared services, PMO/portfolio management, or HR project/program delivery.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Able to work collaboratively and effectively with other staff, employees, and supervisors.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Experience with Workday, UKG, and/or Zendesk systems.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$116,000.00 - $174,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
