Position Summary:
The Warehouse Team Lead will ensure that the NAM distribution work is successfully completed on a day-to-day basis. The Warehouse Team Lead will also focus on setting operational goals/targets with emphasis on first time right performance, work with other internal departments in supporting specific customer issues and exceptions where necessary and be an active participant in providing information on stock levels to eliminate stock outs. This position may involve handling of human tissue products.

Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
• Cooperate with immediate Supervisor in the daily NAM process and activities such as pick-pack-ship and dock management.
• Ensure that all customers orders placed before daily cut-off will be processed and shipped same day.
• Support immediate Supervisor in planning and management of all resources of the warehouse pertaining to Quality Compliance.
• Monitor departmental objectives as related to productivity, schedules, efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
• Ensure the cleanliness, working conditions and safety of all allocated resources within the warehouse and shipping dock are maintained.
• Strive to minimize/eliminate errors in warehouse operations.
• Organize, structure, and conduct goods receipt of product delivered to the warehouse according to established procedures.
• Ensure supply of packaging material.
• Assist with root cause analysis and containment opportunities.
• Support the ongoing review and updating of departmental procedures (SOP’s and Work Instructions).
• Motivate team members to improve performance and promote teamwork.
• Train new employees on departmental procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Management Responsibilities:
This position manages the following positions: 5-10 Warehouse Pick Pack Specialists

Physical Attributes:
• May sit/stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Traverse long distances through the building.
• Push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Bend, crouch and reach continuously while performing required job tasks.
• Spend significant time reading both on paper and on a computer.


Work Environment:
• General warehouse environment.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.


Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years Warehouse/Distribution environment experience.
• 1+ years’ experience in working with SAP MM/SD.
• 1+ years’ experience in working in a fast-paced FDA/ISO regulated environment.
• 1+ years’ experience leading people.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficient with MS Excel and Outlook.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively.
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, accuracy and implemented structures.
• Be punctual and work overtime when required with occasional weekend work.


Hourly wage range: $23–$25 per hour. Employees working 2nd shift receive an additional 5% shift differential applied to their base hourly rate. The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.
