About UsFunctioning under the direction of the principal investigator, the study coordinator will implement the study protocol in a pilot randomized clinical trial of milk for diabetes prevention. The Study manages research project activities, ensuring the quality and integrity of data collection, and assists with the development of study protocols and materials.
This is a full-time position. This is also an opportunity for an individual who might be interested in the clinical research field to learn more about conducting a clinical research study.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Implement study protocols; Responsible for tasks related to recruitment and managing protocol; Ensure study protocol is adhered to; Develop recruitment methods; Oversee the process by which participants are recruited into the study.
- Perform data collection and quality control of study data.
- Develop and implement methods to track and follow-up with study participants.
- Oversee questionnaires for completeness and accuracy.
- Implement quality control procedures; Assist in preparing manuscript for publication; and troubleshoot any data collection or QC issues that arise during the final analysis and publication of data.
- Assist PI with IRB approval issues, consenting, and preparation of data files reporting/progress report
- Communicate regularly with PI regarding study progress
- Manages the quality control aspects of the study
- Manages goals and progress of study
- Enters and maintains data in database, prepares routine and ad hoc reports including Quality Control reports; Processing Data
- Management of financial incentive to participants.
- Assist in the preparation of grants for future studies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONSMaximum Salary Range:
USD $58,500.00/Yr.
