Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against purchase order receiving copy.
Document and photograph damaged goods as needed.
Ensure goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment.
Prepare and keep records of goods received.
Maintain an organized and efficient workspace and following all receiving processes and helping to maintain organized inventory.
Report quality problems to applicable supervisor.
Follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary.
Assist in the placement of products in their correct location in the plant through use of a motorized lift truck and/or hand carts.
