Title Child Health Policy and Advocacy Intern Job Description The paid internship supports the Nemours Children's Health, National Office of Policy and Prevention , Policy and Advocacy Team (federal government). The team focuses on several policy areas, including Medicaid and children's coverage, whole child health, mental and behavioral health, early care and education, maternal and infant health, and nutrition and physical activity. Interns become familiar with these and other health policy areas while developing skills in policy research and analysis, writing, organization and government relations. Qualifications Current graduate student in public health, public policy, or related field. Strong candidates will have excellent research and writing skills, the motivation to learn about policy topics and an ability to work independently.
