Summary:? The QC Inspector located in Michigan City, IN reports to our QC Lead and is responsible for inspecting incoming parts from vendors, parts in process and finished goods to assure conformance to quality control requirements established by the company's engineering department.? Essential Duties and Responsibilities:? Inspect incoming parts to prints, specifications and industrial standards, variety of test devices and measuring instruments.? Use blueprints to find engineering data such as size, material, surface finished, thread, etc. in the Incoming inspection area.? Inspect first piece of production run in the print shop area and where otherwise noted.? Inspect finished sub assembly parts and finished product for quality of workmanship, calibration and conformance to standard or special parts list data.? Identify defects for repair or line correction.? Periodically inspect in-process work according to route and sampling instruction received...
