This position gathers, organizes and statistically analyzes research data. The position determines data requirements, designs data collection tools, constructs and manages databases, conducts statistical analysis of data, and reports results. The position participates in development of research policies and practices in a specialty such as health care, public health, educational programs, educational administration, behavioral science, mental health, or social science. Duties include use of specific statistical analysis software such as SAS or SPSS and may include SQL or other programming. This position may act as a data consultant to several research studies. This work meets the FLSA criteria for a professional exemption by performing work that is primarily intellectual in character that requires a prolonged period of academic preparation.
