SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE: Assist the Inventory Control and Cost Manager with daily duties of, receiving, inspecting, and storing of goods received.  Assist and backup the Production Control Clerk with running reports, gathering and input of data in order to complete A/E’s and weekly and monthly forecasting, prepare mill and production schedules.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspect all incoming raw materials as well as Warehouse and Maintenance Supplies for obvious visual damage, including packaging and banding Verify that the shipment description and count matches the physical material received Verify that the shipment is properly identified with visible markings Verify that all required documentation is accompanying the shipment, such as mill test reports and certificates of compliance, as applicable Work with Quality Control Department in ensuring all required documentation is complete Process goods receipts transactions in...
