What You'll Do

As a Residential Service Plumber, you'll independently manage plumbing service calls, diagnose problems, and deliver an exceptional experience for homeowners.

Your responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drain lines, fixtures, faucets, valves, and water heaters.
• Identify leaks, drainage problems, water pressure concerns, and other plumbing system deficiencies.
• Perform plumbing repairs, maintenance, installations, and replacements.
• Install, service, and repair conventional and tankless water heaters.
• Evaluate plumbing systems and identify opportunities to improve reliability, safety, and performance.
• Recommend appropriate repair, replacement, and upgrade options based on your findings.
• Clearly explain plumbing problems, diagnostic findings, and available solutions to homeowners.
• Present pricing and options professionally, helping customers make informed decisions.
• Generate service revenue through appropriate recommendations, approved repairs, and quality installations.
• Complete work in accordance with applicable plumbing codes, manufacturer requirements, and company safety standards.
• Document service findings, recommendations, materials, and completed work accurately.
• Maintain professional workmanship, an organized service vehicle, and a positive customer experience.
• Work collaboratively with dispatch, field leadership, and other technicians to deliver reliable service.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for experienced plumbers who combine technical ability with accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to doing the job right.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of plumbing service, maintenance, repair, or installation experience.
• Strong plumbing troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Working knowledge of residential plumbing systems, materials, repair techniques, and applicable codes.
• Ability to diagnose water supply, drainage, fixture, and water heater problems.
• Ability to work independently and manage residential service calls.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to explain technical problems and solutions clearly to homeowners.
• Willingness to present repair and replacement options and participate in a performance-based compensation structure.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting equipment and working in attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Appropriate plumbing licensing or registration as required by the jurisdiction where work is performed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent advanced plumbing credentials.
• Residential service experience involving direct homeowner interaction.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing conventional and tankless water heaters.
• Experience with water treatment systems, pressure regulation, and backflow prevention.
• Experience evaluating plumbing systems and presenting repair and replacement options.
• Familiarity with digital service documentation and field service technology.
