What You Will Be Doing

  • Securing, unloading and loading freight using banding, dunnage, binders and chains.
  • Operate a warehouse forklift.
  • Working on the deck of a barge to set and pull cones, secure containers and assist operators as needed.
  • Involved in the process of receiving and distributing freight to and from customers at the facility.
  • Must be able to apply and be issued a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card).

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50-pound objects.
  • Ability to work around moving mechanical parts and in an environment where the noise level ranges from moderate to moderately loud.
  • Ability to travel for short periods of time and able to work in outside weather conditions.
