What You'll Do

As an Assistant Professor of Nursing, you will:

• Develop and deliver engaging nursing curriculum and course materials.
• Teach and evaluate students in classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings.
• Mentor and advise students throughout their nursing education.
• Help students connect classroom learning with real-world clinical practice.
• Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement.
• Support student recruitment, retention, and success.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to provide meaningful learning experiences.
• Incorporate current evidence-based nursing practices into instruction.

What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or Nursing Education, or the ability to complete a master's degree.
• Current New York State Professional Nursing License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong teaching, clinical, communication, and computer skills.
• Excellent critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in Nursing or a related field.
• Experience with simulation-based learning.
• Background or experience in psychiatric care is strongly encouraged.

The starting salary for this position is $65,000 and is commensurate with education and experience.
