About the Role
The Commercial Strategy Analyst is a highly analytical and creative problem-solver who uses data to support key Commercial decisions across JSX. Youll work on a wide range of high-impact initiatives spanning Network Planning, Revenue Management, Marketing, Customer Experience, and loyalty.
From evaluating new destinations and optimizing current flying to tracking fleet performance and supporting the growth of ClubJSX, youll translate complex data into clear recommendations for leaders across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into the details, asking thoughtful questions, and seeing their analysis drive real-world decisions.
This role is based at JSX Headquarters in Dallas, TX and is required to be in-office 4 days/week.

A Day in the Life
In this role, youll:
- Lead and support data-driven analyses that inform decisions across Network Planning, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Customer Experience.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and business implications clearly to Commercial team members and leadership.
- Perform in-depth market analysis using aviation and demographic data to identify new route opportunities, determine seasonal timing, and evaluate existing frequencies.
- Analyze current network performance and recommend changes to timing, frequency, or market presence to improve profitability.
- Partner with Marketing to evaluate opportunities to grow ClubJSX and recommend promotional strategies designed to attract and retain Customers.
- Enhance internal Commercial reporting through dashboards and new reports that provide clear visibility into business performance.
- Support executive reporting by translating complex operating and commercial data into concise, actionable insights.
- Use Qualtrics to visualize and communicate Net Promoter Score trends and identify opportunities to strengthen the Customer experience.
- Analyze ATR fleet performance and apply findings to support the continued growth of the JSX ATR network.
- Build dashboards using Claude or other visualization tools to help Commercial teams identify opportunities and improve performance.
- Recommend new tools, processes, and standardizations that improve analytics workflows and decision-making.
- Take ownership of ad hoc analyses and strategic questions as new Commercial opportunities emerge.

Required Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or another relevant field.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and the ability to communicate analyses clearly through presentations.
- Familiarity with Claude or other dashboarding and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within teams and across functions.
- Strong organization and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Previous full-time or internship experience in a strategy-focused, analytics-focused, consulting, airline, travel, or similarly data-driven role.
- Experience working with aviation, demographic, Customer, loyalty, or market-performance data.
- Experience creating dashboards, executive reporting, or business performance analyses.

Compensation Range:
$60,700.0 - $74,400.0
