Front Desk Responsibilities
1. Handles all incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner directing to the appropriate person/department
2. Greets guests and visitors in a professional and courteous manner and directs guests and visitors to the appropriate person/department
3. Coordinates front desk activities
4. Communicates with co-workers verbally, through the communication log book, and email
5. Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
6. Responds to resident requests in a kind and courteous manner
7. Sorts mail as needed and directs all mail forwarding to appropriate address
8. Supports The Herrick House Executive Director and management team as directed
9. Completes new resident welcome packets
10. Assists the Director of Business Services with special projects as assigned
Filing Responsibilities
1. Files all check requests and vendor invoices
2. Conducts periodic review of vendor files ensuring invoices are being filed in correct folders as directed
3. Files appropriate documentation in order in each of the residents’ financial folders
4. Conducts periodic reviews of the residents’ financial files ensuring all documentation is being filed in the correct areas as directed
Cash Deposits/Receipts
1. Monitors petty cash balance held at reception desk
2. Maintains and posts guest meal tickets
3. Takes direction from Director of Business Services in completing the process of cash deposits
Pay Range:
$15.00 - $20.25The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
Anna Jaques Hospital is a 123 bed community hospital serving 17 cities and towns in the Merrimack Valley . The hospital offers a wide range of acute care services to meet the needs of our growing patient population including inpatient and outpatient surgery in fully digitized computerized operating room suites, cardiology including echocardiography and a cardiac cath lab, comprehensive cancer services, orthopedics, nuclear medicine, laboratory, noninvasive vascular lab, joint replacement program and birth center.
Programs include the number one wound center in the nation, a primary stroke service, and Level III Trauma Center . Diagnostic imaging services for patients include MRI, CT, PET, and the PACS digital x-ray system. In addition, we are one of only three healthcare communities to be selected for the pilot Massachusetts e-Health Collaborative. Due to the dedication of our physicians, we are one of the first communities in Massachusetts to implement electronic health records, system-wide, for the safety of our patients.

The hospitals Non Invasive Vascular laboratory was accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL).
For the second year in a row, the American Association for Respiratory Care awarded the hospital its Quality Respiratory Care Recognition. The hospital had no ventilator acquired pneumonia cases during the last year.
The Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center is the only such center to receive full accreditation from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) in Massachusetts .
