Summary of position:
The Baker Center for Children and Families (also known as Judge Baker Children's Center), promotes the best possible mental health of children and families through the integration of research, intervention, training, and policy.
The School Psychiatric Prescriber provides comprehensive psychiatric and psychopharmacological services to caseload of Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade Manville School students. The School Psychiatric Prescriber works as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team and collaborates with students, families, educators, clinicians, school leadership, and community-based providers to support students with complex behavioral health needs. The School Psychiatric Prescriber demonstrated sound clinical judgment, strong knowledge of child and adolescent behavioral health, and the ability to provide trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based psychiatric care within a school-based setting.
