ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Paraprofessional to support children and young adults with behavioral and learning challenges in school and clinical settings. In this role, you'll implement behavior and instructional plans, provide one-on-one and small-group support, collect data, and help maintain a safe, structured environment. You'll collaborate daily with teachers, behavior analysts, and therapists, gaining hands-on experience with evidence-based practices while making a direct impact on student growth and family outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to students under guidance of behavior analysts, therapists, and teachers
- Implement behavior intervention and instructional plans with fidelity
- Collect and record behavioral and academic data during sessions
- Support classroom management and create a safe, structured environment
- Assist with de-escalation and crisis-prevention strategies as trained
- Communicate observations and progress to supervising clinicians and teachers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in team meetings
- Follow individualized education or treatment plans and company protocols
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
