Located in Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college, offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.
Position Summary:
The idealcandidate will join a vibrant educational community and have a desire andability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. MassBay Community College seeksqualified Adjunct Faculty members beginning in spring 2027 and for futuresemesters to teach courses in Health Careers Exploration, Medical Terminology,and/or Soft Skills for Medical Professionals. The ideal candidate willdemonstrate a passion for teaching and promoting success among a varied studentpopulation. The Health Studies Adjunct Faculty will teach college courses andprovide skill-development instruction didactically on high school campuseswhere we have Early College/Dual Enrollment agreements. Courses are deliveredface-to-face or in a hybrid modality. Opportunities exist to teach othercourses in health sciences, depending on the candidate’s additional clinicalcertifications.
Teaching schedules follow the assignedhigh school campus rotation and may vary by day, school calendar, and studentlunch schedule. Specific course meeting days and times will be determined incoordination with the assigned high school campus.

Salary Range: $1,512 - $1,715 per DCE Credit
