POSITION SUMMARY The Cash Accounting Analyst II is a specialized treasury role that focuses on monitoring and reporting cash flow and control functions across the AtlantiCare organization. Additionally, a strong understanding of organizational structure, and the ability to effectively achieve department goals within a large organization is needed. Duties include but are not limited to cash posting, complex reconciliation, balance forecasting, reporting, and reviewing banking position, and process automation and documentation. This position will be directly involved in designing and implementing treasury functions to enhance compliance with internal controls and improve operational efficiencies. This position requires a customer focused mindset with strong process management and communication skills to define, distribute, coach, and review complex cash processes with organizational stakeholders. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Associates degree or 15 years of relevant accounting experience required in medium to large-size company, preferably Healthcare. Incumbents that enter into this role after 12/20 will be required to have an Associates degree. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: EXPERIENCE: Core skills should include strong understanding of GAAP accounting concepts as well as extensive computer experience with Microsoft Office including advanced knowledge of Excel. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Demonstrates the ability to perform the department specific competencies as listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool. WORK ENVIRONMENT Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. This position requires desk and computer work a majority of the day with frequent standing and walking and reaching.
