About the Team

The Hospital Pharmacy team is a collaborative group dedicated to supporting safe, timely, and effective medication use across inpatient and outpatient care. Team members work closely with pharmacists and clinical staff to ensure patients receive high-quality, coordinated care.

Mission for Position

The mission of the Hospital Pharmacy Technician is to support safe, accurate, and timely medication delivery by ensuring excellence in preparation, inventory management, and collaboration, contributing to high-quality patient care and reliable pharmacy operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, compound, and distribute medications accurately and safely under pharmacist supervision.
  • Perform sterile compounding, including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition.
  • Ensure timely medication delivery, including urgent (stat) requests, to support patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, and removing expired items.
  • Enter and manage prescription and medication data within pharmacy systems.
  • Support regulatory compliance through proper documentation, inspections, and quality checks.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and care teams to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspaces and equipment.

Position Type 

The is a full-time position working 64 hours a pay period (0.8FTE). Shifts are between 6:30am and 5:00pm. Rotating weekends and holidays are required.
