Along with the manager and other section supervisors, technical oversight of the assigned laboratory section (Molecular, Quincy Urgent Care Laboratory, Point of Care, and pre-analytical department). Accurately, consistently, and efficiently perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical activities required for laboratory testing for pediatric/adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in compliance with laboratory, hospital, state, federal, and regulatory agency policies and procedures. WORKING CONDITIONS
The nature of the tasks/responsibilities required of employees in this position will likely expose them to blood or other potentially infectious material per OSHA definitions in OSHA document 29 CFR 1910.1030. Employees will be oriented to and required to understand and follow the standard precautions for infection control. A summary list of tasks and procedures that may cause exposure to blood and body fluids is listed in the attached Physical Abilities Job Description. Also identified is the personal protective equipment (PPE) that is available.
Qualifications:
Education, vocational training and experience: (minimum requirements of candidate)
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
Min Experience: 2-5 years of hospital based clinical laboratory experience required. Previous practice management experience in a medical practice and/or ambulatory setting and medical technologist experience preferred.

Pay Range:
$100,000.00 USD - $125,000.00 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
Anna Jaques Hospital is a 123 bed community hospital serving 17 cities and towns in the Merrimack Valley .
