Work hours: PRN (As Needed) - Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 4:30pm

Heres’ What You Need:
· H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
· Associate degree science related field preferred
· 2 Years diving/medical hypo/hyperbaric experience required.
· 5 Years diving/medical hypo/hyperbaric experience preferred.
· 2 Years in team leader or charge role preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
· CHT – Certified Hyperbaric Technologist Upon Hire Required
Skills
· Ability to read and understand operations manuals, treatment tables, schedules, advanced knowledge of technical and safety programs for hyperbaric monoplace chambers, leadership and communication skills.
Here’s What You Will Do:
Chamber Operations, Logs and Records:
· Is able to safely and proficiently operate in hypo/hyperbaric mode following prescribed tables for clinical treatments and research programs.
· Performs and documents all safety and operational checks on chambers and associated mechanical equipment on a daily basis.
· Conducts all safety inspections directed by national codes and standards.
· Is able to log and record time, pressures, depths, altitudes, etc. of chamber operations.
· Maintains complete and accurate historical records on chambers, mechanical equipment and life support devices.
Patient Monitoring during HBOT treatment:
· Necessary care includes, but is not limited to: assisting patients with donning and adjusting oxygen delivery devices assisting in the management of medical emergencies such as seizures, respiratory and cardiac arrest maintaining IV's and other patient care activities within the scope of the training policies as delineated in the standard operating procedures of the Unit.
· Continually monitors patients during treatments to ensure the proper delivery of oxygen or other breathing medium, watching for signs and symptoms of oxygen intolerance, claustrophobia, diabetic reactions, decompression sickness, and gas embolism.
Patient Care:
· Assists physicians and nurses with wound care and wound dressing changes.
· Performs and documents patient vital signs and blood sugars as required.
· Sizes patients for proper fit of appropriate oxygen delivery device prior to initial treatment.
· Sets weekly staffing schedules on a rotational basis based on patient care needs.
· Documents patient vital signs, daily treatment notes, and or wound care notes.
