Training: Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from a recognized college or university. Must have an NC license or a NC provisional license. The provisional license will be accepted until the state boards are taken, and the results are known. No prior work experience required. Knowledge of occupational therapy terminology, procedures and techniques. Considerable skill in performing occupational therapy procedures. Thorough ability to deal tactfully with patients, physicians and hospital personnel. Judgment is required in working with patients and performing treatments. Required BLS Certification.
