*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Orthotist/Prosthetist to join our dynamic healthcare team. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and biomechanical evaluations, to determine appropriate orthotic or prosthetic interventions.
* Design, fit, adjust, and modify orthotic and prosthetic devices tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring optimal functionality and comfort.
* Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams—including physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals—to develop integrated treatment plans.
* Educate patients on device usage, maintenance, and care to promote adherence and maximize therapeutic benefits.
* Maintain detailed clinical documentation in accordance with confidentiality policies and medical terminology standards.
* Stay current with advances in biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and orthotic/prosthetic technology through continuing medical education (CME) training.
* Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques during device fabrication and fitting procedures to uphold safety standards.
*Experience*
* Valid certification as a Certified Orthotist/Prosthetist from an accredited organization.
* Post-residency experience in orthotics and prosthetics practice with demonstrated proficiency in device fitting and adjustment.
* Proven ability to perform detailed patient assessments including physical examinations and functional evaluations.
* Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable, along with familiarity with pediatric biomechanics.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and orthopedic devices essential for effective patient care.
* Prior experience practicing in a clinical setting that emphasizes patient service, confidentiality policies, and interprofessional collaboration is preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
