MassBayCommunity College is seeking qualified part-time Central Processing Technologyadjunct instructors to help prepare the next generation of Central SterileSupply professionals for a high-demand field with a critical workforceshortage. This exciting opportunity may be filled by one instructor who teachesacross lectures, lab, and clinical experiences, or by two instructors who sharethe didactic, lab, and clinical components of the role.
Instructorsshould bring current certification and professional expertise in CentralProcessing and/or Surgical Technology. The role includes engaging students inlectures and labs, supporting clinical readiness, coordinating with healthcarepartners, and helping students follow college and hospital protocols. Clinicalresponsibilities include serving as a point of contact for students and sitepartners, conducting scheduled clinical visits, monitoring requireddocumentation, and collaborating with the Surgical Services Program Directorand faculty to support a strong, student-centered program.
Semester, Days, Times:
Fall 2026 Lecture & Lab: Mondays, 6:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
Spring 2027 Lecture & Lab: Mondays, 6:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
Summer 2028 Lecture & Lab: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
Clinical visits occur during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. TheClinical Instructor will visit students weekly at clinical sites during daytimeand some evening hours, Monday through Thursday, on a variable schedule.

Serve as Program Organizer bysupporting program implementation, information sessions, new-studentorientations, clinical partner communication, and resolution of studentconcerns. Collaborate with admissions and advising, communicating withprospective students, reporting program progress and outcomes between semestersand during the summer, and helping establish and maintain clinical sites. ThisFramingham-based role requires occasional travel and on-campus presence withadvance notice; much of the work may be completed remotely. Compensation is $35per hour for up to 8 hours per week, though the role typically requires 4–6hours per week.
