TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking an experienced and versatile Senior Marketing Specialist to join our team in Nashville, TN.

As TransCore grows and matures its marketing organization to support evolving products, new markets, and customer engagement initiatives, we are seeking an experienced professional to play a central, cross-functional role spanning marketing communications and proposal development.

This position leads and supports work in corporate brand positioning, product and solution storytelling, and regional business objectives, while also coordinating proposal development to ensure timely, compliant, and well-branded responses to RFIs/RFQs/RFPs. The role serves as a strategic partner to product, regional, and business development teams, balancing high-impact presentation creation and content development with the hands-on coordination proposals require.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and strategic marketer who can translate complex offerings into persuasive stories, manage multiple concurrent deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will have a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Business Development Support
  • Partner with Product, Regional, and Executive teams to support growth initiatives and strategic pursuits.
  • Develop high-impact presentation materials, including pitch decks, oral presentations for proposals, solution overviews, and customer-specific narratives.
  • Translate complex products, platforms, and solutions into clear, customer-focused value propositions tailored to buyer audiences.
  • Support deal-based storytelling, including pursuit presentations, customer pitches, and executive briefings.
  • Collaborate with cross-organizational stakeholders to create marketing and sales enablement assets such as case studies, white papers, product briefs, and thought leadership content.
  • Partner with regional teams and the Chief Experience Officer to support market-specific communications and customer engagement efforts.
  • Track and report on initiatives using CRM and reporting tools.

Proposal Development Support
  • Work directly with the Business Segment Owners, Operational Leaders, and Senior Proposal Specialists to provide proposal coordination and ensure timely, compliant responses to RFIs/RFQs/RFPs.
  • Review incoming RFIs/RFQs/RFPs to identify requirements, timelines, and specifications, and route to legal and operational teams supporting response development.
  • Provide templates and general company information required in responses, and request technical inputs from subject matter experts.
  • Establish production calendars; schedule, track, and prioritize tasks throughout proposal development.
  • Coordinate cross-organizational teams of subject-matter experts to ensure timely responses and adherence to RFI/RFQ/RFP timelines and requirements.
  • Report on requirements, assignments, and task status over the course of proposal development.
  • Manage content from numerous stakeholders; edit for consistency, compliance, and accuracy; and oversee documents through revisions to delivery.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers to ensure proposals are appropriately branded for submission.

Content & Process Management
  • Maintain marketing processes, presentation templates, messaging frameworks, and shared resources to support efficient, consistent development across teams.
  • Identify consistent product and solution language and, in partnership with subject-matter experts, build and maintain a centrally accessible library of proposal and marketing boilerplate content.
  • Update and maintain stock content library assets, including corporate overviews, resource resumes and bios, business segment summaries, and product descriptions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or a related field, or commensurate experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing communications, product marketing, sales enablement, business development support, or proposal development.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling, writing, and editing capability.
  • Demonstrated experience developing customer-facing presentations, pitch decks, and sales enablement materials.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting proposal development for a public procurement process (RFP/RFIs).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting go-to-market initiatives, growth strategies, and customer-facing teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and marketing collaboration tools (Monday.com preferred).
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams), with advanced PowerPoint skills and a strong eye for structure, clarity, and visual storytelling.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Acrobat preferred.
  • Experience leading government RFP proposal development preferred.
  • Experience using proposal content management systems, such as Responsive/RFPIO or Loopio, preferred.
