In this role, you will work in a fast-paced and exciting development environment with a team of experienced software and systems engineers to satisfy technical requirements, support functional load deliveries and ensure compliance with certification requirements.
Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for development, systems integration, and verification of core Display applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Implement software solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Testing and Integration on test benches in labs.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in software development.
Qualifications US PERSON REQUIREMENTDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.YOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline Software Engineering degree or related experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development.
- Strong C++ or Object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Strong software architecture and design development skills.
WE VALUE- Advanced degrees in Computer Science or related fields.
- SW architecture design and embedded C++ coding
- Experience in developing software for embedded systems.
- Multi-core / multi-thread development experience.
- Software development lifecycle experience per DO-178C.
- Experience with Software Verification and Validation using C++.
- Strong analytical and software development skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
- Creating test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
- Familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket, DOORS NG, and Confluence
