Job Description
As the Program Management Senior Director for Next Generation Avionics here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of the Next Generation Avionics portfolio of programs, which include Cockpit Avionics, Flight Management Systems, Traffic and Surveillance systems, Heads-up Displays, and other future technology development. Your strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for the program. You will report directly to our Program Management Vice President and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of the certification, production readiness, and entry into service activities for multiple avionics products, both in terms of hardware and software. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall portfolio of programs are executed efficiently, meeting all objectives and deliverables on time, on schedule, and on cost. You will collaborate with various cross functional stakeholders to drive program success and ensure customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible as the lead delegate for the Program Management Vice President in various forums and activities as required.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and oversee the Next Generation Avionics Portfolio activities
• Develop and implement program management fundamentals and best practices
• Ensure compliance with program management standards and guidelines
• Manage and Analyze program performance metrics and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive program success
• Provide leadership and guidance to the program management team
• Conduct program reviews and identify areas for improvement
• Lead and drive strategic initiatives to enhance program management efficiency and effectiveness including the use of AI.

YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management or related roles
• Prior experience in a leadership or director-level role
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
• Program management certification (e.g., PMP)
• Experience in leading and managing large-scale and complex programs
• Knowledge of program management methodologies
