*Position Overview*

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Supervisor provides clinical supervision and oversight to Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSWs) and support for other unlicensed staff serving justice-involved individuals. This position ensures that all clinical services are delivered in alignment with professional standards, evidence-based practices, and applicable regulatory requirements. The LCSW Supervisor supports the integration of trauma-informed, restorative, and culturally responsive care across Housing & Treatment and In-Custody & Reentry teams, while maintaining compliance with licensing standards and contributing to program quality and effectiveness.

*Roles & Responsibilities*

*Clinical Supervision & Oversight*

* Provide individual and group clinical supervision in accordance with applicable licensing requirements, including supervision frequency, structure, and ratios.
* Establish and maintain written supervision agreements with all supervisees.
* Document all supervision sessions in a timely and compliant manner.
* Verify and approve supervised clinical hours in alignment with licensure requirements.

*Clinical Quality & Compliance*

* Review and co-sign assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical documentation as required.
* Ensure all services meet ethical, legal, and professional standards.
* Maintain compliance with confidentiality regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
* Monitor staff scope of practice and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

*Program Implementation*

* Support the delivery of counseling and case management services using trauma-informed, restorative, and evidence-based approaches
* Facilitate case review and multidisciplinary team consultation to support coordinated care
* Assist in the development and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and workflows

*Staff Development*

* Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and clinical guidance to support staff development
* Support skill-building in assessment, case conceptualization, and intervention strategies
* Promote staff wellness and address secondary trauma through reflective supervision practices

*Collaboration & Reporting*

* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including probation, courts, and behavioral health providers
* Support program evaluation, data tracking, and reporting requirements associated with grant funding.
* Contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts
* Participate in the Restorative Partners Board Ad Hoc Behavioral Wellness Services committee

*Direct Services (As Needed)*

* Provide direct clinical services, including crisis intervention and support for complex cases, as needed

*Other Duties*

* Perform other duties as contracted to support program and organizational needs

*Knowledge, Skills, Talents, & Abilities*

* Experience providing clinical or case management services to justice-involved, reentry, or high-risk populations preferred
* Strong understanding of restorative justice and trauma-informed care principles
* Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, assessment tools, and evidence-based interventions
* Willingness to integrate restorative justice principles into clinical practice (accountability, repair of harm, and community healing)
* Experience supporting individuals on probation, parole, or other forms of community supervision
* Cultural humility and sensitivity to diverse populations; awareness of the systemic inequities impacting justice-involved communities
* Excellent organizational, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Proficiency in electronic health record systems and documentation standards
* Skilled in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and maintaining professional boundaries
* Empathetic, nonjudgmental, and client-centered approach to participant care
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
* Commitment to participant advocacy, social justice, and ethical professional standards

*Essential Requirements*

* Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
* Current California LCSW license in good standing.
* Completion of required clinical supervision training in accordance with licensing regulations.
* Minimum of three (3) years post-licensure experience
* Prior supervisory experience preferred
* Experience working with justice-involved, reentry, or high-risk populations preferred
* Knowledge of trauma-informed care, co-occurring disorders, and restorative justice approaches
* Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and database management systems
* Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
* Fluency in English (bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable)
* Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $53.00 - $57.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
