GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Immediate opening for a GRAPHIC DESIGNER position at Hornady Manufacturing in Grand Island, NE. This highly skilled individual will be an onsite member of the Hornady Marketing Department and an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans.

Essential Functions (perform or provide assistance with the following):

• Develop ideas and materials for creative marketing campaigns; utilize graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom)
• Work with team on marketing projects in a fast-paced environment while adhering to sensitive deadlines
• Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums (including social media platforms)
• Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities using content development, optimization, advertising, etc.
• Collaborate with internal marketing and sales personnel to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
• Travel as necessary, less than 10%

Ideal candidates will have a Degree in Graphic Design or related field (Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred) and relevant experience.  Must possess exceptional communication skills and commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.  A genuine interest or existing knowledge in hunting/shooting industry preferred.
