Sr Advanced Project Engr

Job Description

As a Sr. Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will lead complex engineering projects that drive innovation and deliver advanced technological solutions within the aerospace sector. You will be instrumental in managing project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality aerospace products and systems.

You will report directly to our engineering leadership and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

In this role, you will impact the development and advancement of aerospace technologies that enhance aircraft performance, safety, and efficiency, contributing to Honeywell's position as a global leader in aerospace innovation.


Responsibilities
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 8+ years of engineering experience in highly regulated environments with significant project leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience managing complex engineering projects in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, automotive, energy, or similar) with successful delivery outcomes.
  • Experience working with global or distributed teams.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, including executive-level status reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and regulatory requirements in highly regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and effectively communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Expertise in project planning tools and software, risk management, and cross-functional team leadership.
  • Familiarity with systems design, integration, and testing processes within regulated environments.
  • Basic knowledge of Python programming language and test stand test suites.
  • Basic knowledge of supporting factory production environments.
