Responsibilities
As a Hardware Test Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will be part of our Inertial Sensor Assembly Calibration (ISACal) department, contributing to essential projects that drive the future of aerospace and hardware systems.
  • Lead and manage calibration activities for the Inertial Sensor Assembly to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve test stations and calibration software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware and software integration throughout the calibration process.
  • Write and execute software scripts to automate calibration and testing processes.
  • Document calibration procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.
  • Train test technicians and maintain/create Test Instructions.

Note: Opportunity is available at various experience levels from Engineer II through Senior Engineer level

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of industry experience in test engineering role (at the Engineer II level)
  • Understanding of software and hardware integration in testing environments.
  • Knowledge of test stations and calibration software applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

We Value:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in calibration procedures for Inertial Sensor Assemblies or similar systems.
  • Proficient in MATLAB for data analysis and software development.
  • Experience with Thermal Rate Tables and Test Stations.
  • Familiarity with additional programming languages and software tools including Python, C++, and Arduino.
  • Prior experience in aerospace or electrical engineering industries.
