The Research Assistant will perform a variety of independent laboratory work and experiments including following: maintaining laboratory reagents, equipment, space, and assisting with ordering. They will execute experimental protocols, oversee animal husbandry, perform basic behavioral and molecular biology experiments, and document data for analysis, and work with other lab members and trainees to complete work. A bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biology, or related fields is preferred, with knowledge of basic biology and psychology. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a biology or psychology lab. The technician will be expected to work with rodents. Organizational skills and timely scheduling are necessary as well as the ability to identify and problem solve as needed.
