Material Handler - Level 3 (1st shift)

Job Description

As a Material Handler Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in managing and moving materials efficiently within our facility to support production and operational needs. Your expertise will ensure timely and accurate handling of inventory, contributing to smooth workflow and overall productivity.

You will report directly to our Warehouse Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on an on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact operational efficiency and inventory accuracy by ensuring materials are received, stored, and distributed correctly, supporting production schedules and minimizing downtime.


Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and supplies to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment or production use, ensuring timely delivery to required locations.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and storage areas to comply with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with inventory control and production teams to resolve discrepancies and improve material flow processes.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Proven experience in material handling within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and material flow processes.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with inventory tracking systems and basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to support production goals.
  • Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement principles is a plus.
