Job Summary: Assistant Clinical Managers are responsible for delivery of effective laboratory service by providing an environment that supports the productivity, competency and morale of technical and support staff. With the Clinical Manager they are responsible for all operations in their laboratory including training, scheduling, mentoring and assessing staff performance. They promote ongoing quality improvement in their section and Pathology. They work as a team with other intra and interdepartmental management staff to provide consistent quality service to our customers.Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology or Biological Science required.
Preferred Education: MBA, MHA, MPH or related MS degree Master’s preferred.
Required Work Experience: 5 or more year’s full time experience required.
3 or more years’ experience in a related Lead or Supervisory role required.
License/Registration/Certification: ASCP certified generalist or categorical Technologist or equivalent accreditation required.
Other: Demonstrates autonomy, critical thinking skills and has skillset required to oversee all shift operations.
Capability and capacity to lead multiple projects and assist with staffing needs under the direction of department leadership.
Experience and high proficiency with computers required. Web based application experience, Microsoft applications including excel experience required.

Pay Range:
$100,000.00 USD - $135,000.00 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
Anna Jaques Hospital is a 123 bed community hospital serving 17 cities and towns in the Merrimack Valley . The hospitals Non Invasive Vascular laboratory was accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL).
For the second year in a row, the American Association for Respiratory Care awarded the hospital its Quality Respiratory Care Recognition. The hospital had no ventilator acquired pneumonia cases during the last year.
The Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center is the only such center to receive full accreditation from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) in Massachusetts .
