Primary Purpose:The Oracle Reporting Analyst III serves as the lead reporting professional responsible for driving complex reporting initiatives, defining reporting strategy, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality data solutions across Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM.
This role leads the design, development, and optimization of enterprise reporting solutions and acts as the primary liaison between IT and business leadership, translating data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across financials, and human resources. The position provides technical leadership, governance oversight, and mentoring to reporting resources, establishes reporting standards and best practices, and ensures alignment with organizational data strategy.
The Oracle Reporting Analyst III leverages Oracle BI tools including BI Publisher, OTBI, HCM Extracts, BICC, Microsoft Power BI, and Fusion Data Intelligence to deliver enterprise-ready reporting solutions. This role guides reporting architecture decisions and ensures consistency, performance, and sustainability of reporting frameworks.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or IT related field and seven years of experience in report development or data reporting; OR ten years of experience in report development or data reporting or a combination of relevant experience and education.

Oracle Tools: Expert in OTBI, BI Publisher, Microsoft Power BI, HCM Extracts, and BICC (BI Cloud Connector)
Database & Querying: Expert knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
Functional Modules: Deep understanding of data models in Oracle Finance, and/or Human Capital Management (HCM).
Preferred:
Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Experience in Oracle GenAI, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services for AI, such as OCI Data Science, OCI Vision, and OCI Language and Microsoft Azure.

- Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise reporting solutions using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, HCM Extracts, BICC, Microsoft Power BI, and Fusion Data Intelligence
- Establish and enforce reporting standards, templates, and development best practices
- Review and approve complex report designs, SQL logic, and data structures for accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure alignment with enterprise data models and reporting strategy
- Drive performance tuning and scalability of reporting solutions
Reporting Strategy & Governance (25%):
- Define and maintain reporting governance frameworks, including data standards, naming conventions, and documentation practices
- Partner with leadership to prioritize reporting initiatives based on business value and risk
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle reporting tools and enterprise data usage
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and audit requirements
- Identify opportunities to consolidate, standardize, or retire redundant reports
Data Integrity, Environment, and Delivery Oversight (15%):
- Oversee report migrations, validations, and production readiness
- Lead stakeholder engagements to define reporting solutions aligned to strategic objectives
- Translate complex business needs into scalable technical designs and reporting roadmaps
