Job Description

This position plays a crucial role in supporting production by operating machinery to fabricate various one-off parts and tooling requirements and assisting the Aftermarket team in their operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Machine parts to specifications using manual machine tools like drills, lathes, and milling machines.
  • Perform repair and restoration of parts to support the turbocharger service business.
  • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, jaw attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
  • Monitor machine feed and speed during the machining process, ensuring proper operation.
  • Paint/Coat grooves of the parts for sealing
  • Perform Heat Treatment of parts

WHO YOU ARE

This position is ideal for the entry level candidate that is interested in learning machining and growing within the field.

  • 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, perform quality control, and adhere to safety guidelines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Capability to read, evaluate, and respond to product specifications and drawings.
  • Must have legal U.S. working authorization.

 

PREFERRED

  • Forklift Driving Experience preferred
  • Knowledge of precision measuring tools
  • Knowledge of oilfield assemblies and parts
