Job DescriptionYou will report directly to our Sr Director Strategic Sourcing and you'll work out of our Charlotte/Raleigh, NC or Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the financial performance of the business through the delivery of cost savings, working capital improvement, and supplier quality. You will be responsible for developing and executing annual and strategic sourcing plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will lead sourcing transition initiatives to optimize the supply base, achieve lowest total cost, and reduce sole/single source risk. Additionally, you will drive improvements in sourcing processes and performance through effective management operating systems.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and execute annual and strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Lead sourcing transition initiatives to optimize the supply base and reduce risk.
- Participate in new supplier search and development, driving supplier negotiation and contract management.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the sourcing team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies and improve sourcing processes through effective management operating systems.
- Communicate and report transition progress to senior leadership.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE- 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with demonstrated experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills with knowledge of sourcing processes and tools such as SAP and e-sourcing platforms.
- International experience with exposure to high-growth regions and cross-functional experience in engineering/technology, operations, sales/marketing.
WE VALUE- Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Extensive experience in sourcing and complex, large project management and/or contract management experience.
- Professional certifications in project, supply chain, sourcing, or contract management.
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen.
- Experience with SAP, E-Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, and Project Management Tools.
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
