Painter - Level 4- Shift 1

Job Description

As a Painter Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in applying high-quality paint finishes to aerospace components, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards and specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the overall quality and durability of our products, supporting the excellence Honeywell Aerospace is known for.

You will report directly to our Integrated Supply Chain management team and you’ll work out of our Lansdale, PA location with an on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of aerospace products by delivering precise and consistent paint applications, supporting production schedules, and maintaining safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Apply paint coatings to aerospace components using various painting techniques and equipment while adhering to Honeywell Aerospace quality standards.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
  • Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups or rework as necessary to meet strict aerospace specifications.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations throughout the painting process.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Supply Chain and production teams to meet project timelines and production goals.


Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • At least five (5) years of proven experience in aerospace or industrial painting with knowledge of surface preparation, coating application, and finishing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of paint materials, safety protocols, and environmental regulations relevant to aerospace manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in using spray guns, brushes, and other painting equipment to achieve consistent and high-quality finishes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards related to painting processes.
  • Experience with quality inspection methods to identify paint defects and ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
