Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be the engineering project leader and be the primary decision maker for engineering program cost, schedule and engineering issues. You will lead a team in the prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance for Avionics Hardware (Epic, Apex, and/or Anthem) programs with a focus on displays and graphics hardware programs such as the displays, controllers and advanced graphics modules.
Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead Avionics Engineering Programs across multiple Centers of Excellence and/or 3 rd party suppliers
- Work with CBT, PMO, and other leadership
- Manage engineering cost and schedule
- Assess and drive achievement of programs
- Strategy development
- Early problem detection and course correction.
- Annual Operating Plan
- Manage short and long term staffing needs
- Involvement with program pursuits and launches
- Manage Program Metrics
Qualifications Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorizationYOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or similar
- 8+ years engineering experience
