Project Engineer I - CCA Propulsion

Job Description

As a Project Engineer I - CCA Propulsion here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be a part of a team that is managing and executing advanced projects on a very accelerated timeline on the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) team which supports Unmanned CCA Propulsion solutions within the Honeywell Aerospace Engines & Power Systems Propulsion business unit. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, project schedule and customer satisfaction.

This role requires strong educational background or schooling, the desire to learn project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location (Engines Campus) on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of our projects by ensuring timely delivery, managing project risks, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and execute projects within the CCA propulsion team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Strong technical expertise and understanding of project management principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong desire to learn, grow, improve skills and be a part of a team

WE VALUE
• Show application of aerospace, mechanical or related course study work and techniques
• Project management certification (PMP) or similar training
• Knowledge of systems based engineering or model based systems engineering
