Job Description
As a Painter - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in applying coatings and finishes to aerospace components, ensuring the highest quality and durability standards are met. Your expertise will contribute to the overall appearance and protection of critical aerospace parts, supporting Honeywell's commitment to excellence and safety in the aerospace industry.
You will report directly to our Painting Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Torrance, CA location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of aerospace products by delivering precise and consistent painting applications, helping Honeywell maintain its leadership in aerospace manufacturing and innovation.
Responsibilities
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking aerospace components according to specifications.
• Apply primers, paints, and coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment to achieve uniform finishes.
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups or corrections as needed to meet quality standards.
Qualifications
The annual base salary range for this position is $47,500 - $59,400. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE
• Experience in painting or coating applications, preferably in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and use of painting tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols related to hazardous materials and painting processes.
• Familiarity with quality standards and inspection procedures for painted surfaces.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in painting or finishing roles.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow established procedures.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new painting techniques and technologies.
