Rockwall Ford, one of the largest and highest-volume Ford dealerships in the DFW metroplex, is seeking a proven Service Director to lead our fixed operations at the highest level.

This role is designed for a top-performing leader with a track record of delivering exceptional results in high-volume Ford environments. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Ford operations, commercial fleet service, and modern service technologies, along with the ability to drive profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction at scale.

 

Responsibilities:

 
  • Lead all aspects of the service department, including retail, warranty, and internal operations
  • Drive high-volume performance, maximizing RO count, labor hours, and effective labor rate
  • Build and expand Commercial Fleet Service operations, including Ford Pro initiatives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with fleet and commercial clients
  • Oversee full utilization of CDK, Xtime, and Ford systems to drive efficiency and accountability
  • Own and manage departmental P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Deliver top-tier financial performance across customer pay, warranty, and fleet business
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience (CSI) and retention
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing service teams (advisors, techs, managers)
  • Establish a culture of accountability, urgency, and results-driven performance

 

Qualifications:

 
  • 3+ years Service Director or Fixed Ops leadership experience in a high-volume dealership
  • Ford dealership experience REQUIRED
  • Strong experience with:
    • Ford Pro / Commercial Fleet operations
    • CDK (DMS)
    • Xtime platform
  • Proven track record of delivering top-tier financial and operational results
  • Extensive experience managing large, high-performing teams
  • Deep understanding of fixed ops KPIs, technician productivity, and service profitability
  • Strong leadership presence with a results-driven mindset
