As a Service & Repair Technician Level II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service and repair solutions to our customers. You will apply your technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

You will report directly to our Service Manager and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our service operations, contributing to customer retention and the overall success of Honeywell's service and repair business.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1st shift Monday - Friday
  • Follow instructions and execute assigned task such as Test, Repair/Replace parts without damage, and/or Final Config (or any other required tasks) with minimal supervision
  • Meets output requirements/stated goals
  • Moderate ability to interpret and execute as per written service instructions
  • Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Product Solutions and Services (PSS) business to Brady Corporation. At this time, we anticipate that the deal will close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. We expect this role, dedicated to the PSS business, will be part of this future transaction when it closes.

Must Have
  • 1+ years of Moderate knowledge of part placement
  • 1+ years of Moderate troubleshooting knowledge
  • 1+ years of Moderate computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word) and ability to use service and repair computer systems

We Value
  • Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in service and repair technician roles.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar software.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in service and repair of technical equipment, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements relevant to service and repair work.
  • Familiarity with service documentation, repair tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet customer service expectations.
