Full-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality nursing care in our skilled nursing environment. Position SummaryThe LVN/RN is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, facility policies, and professional nursing standards.
Essential Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care and medication administration
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately
- Supervise CNAs and nursing support staff
- Complete accurate and timely charting/documentation
- Carry out physician orders and coordinate resident care plans
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Support residents and families with compassion and professionalism
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Qualifications- Current, active California LVN or RN license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with PCC preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
