Responsibilities Include:
- Cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and clinical spaces
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting according to facility standards
- Proper handling and disposal of waste and linens
- Using cleaning supplies and equipment safely and correctly
- Following infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
- Reporting maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors
- Working cooperatively with nursing and facility staff
Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare or long-term care experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
