As a Supplier Quality Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and improving the quality of products and materials supplied by external vendors to ensure they meet Honeywell’s rigorous aerospace standards. You will work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions to support production and engineering teams.
You will report directly to our Defense Quality Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the overall supply chain quality and reliability of aerospace components, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and Honeywell’s quality expectations, thereby contributing to the safety and performance of aerospace systems.

Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage supplier quality performance through audits, assessments, and corrective action plans to ensure compliance with aerospace standards
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support new product introduction by qualifying suppliers and ensuring quality requirements are met throughout the supply chain
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Minimum 4 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or related quality roles within aerospace or manufacturing industries
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, supplier audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes
- Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and APQP, and experience using supplier quality software and ERP systems
- Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and industry regulatory requirements

- Experience working with global suppliers and managing complex supply chains
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement practices

- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and influence supplier performance
