Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Designing and developing high-quality Core Software architecture and applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Implement software solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Testing and Integration on test benches in labs.
• Execute Software Development Sprints within an Agile/Scrum framework, ensuring effective team collaboration and timely delivery of software increments.
• Apply program specific Software Development practices in compliance with DO-178C objectives for Design Assurance Level A software.
• Coordinate with multiple functional groups to ensure successful integration of software functions at the aircraft level and integration with hardware components.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, including programming in C and/or Python, as well as hands-on work with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), embedded systems, and requirements/configuration management tools (e.g., DOORS, Git).

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENT:
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylum or refugee status in the U.S, or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

WE VALUE:
• Advanced degrees in Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience in developing software for embedded systems.
• Software development lifecycle experience per DO-178C.
• Experience with Software Verification and Validation.
• Strong analytical and software development skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
• Strong command of Jira or similar project tracking software.
• Familiarity with the ARP4754B standard for aerospace systems development
