Position Overview:

The Senior Offering Product Manager for the data loaders product line plays a critical, end‑to‑end leadership role across product strategy, new product introduction (NPI), and portfolio performance management. This role combines product management ownership with portfolio‑level strategic decision‑making to maximize customer value, growth, profitability, and lifecycle outcomes.

This leader is responsible for identifying under‑met customer needs, translating them into winning product strategies, executing New Product Development (NPD) and NPI, and continuously optimizing an active portfolio using data‑driven insights. The role partners closely with engineering, R&D, marketing, sales, manufacturing, and global teams to ensure strong commercial execution and operational performance. As a people leader, this position develops and leads a high‑performing team while driving change across the organization.

Role involves managing the product life cycle of several existing data loader products (DLMU, ADG-400) while also developing Honeywell's next generation data loader (MDG-100) meeting the latest cyber security requirements.

Responsibilities
Ideal Candidate Experience:
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in product management, with a focus on new product introduction or launch.

Key Responsibilities:

Product & Offering Strategy
  • Define and execute product and offering strategies aligned to business goals and long‑term portfolio direction.
  • Own product and offering roadmaps, balancing innovation, customer needs, profitability, and lifecycle considerations.
  • Identify unmet and under‑met customer needs through structured customer discovery and market engagement.
  • Assess willingness to pay, value propositions, and differentiation to guide investment decisions.

New Product Development (NPD) & New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Lead NPD and NPI strategy, execution, and acceleration across the organization.
  • Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on customer, market, and regulatory needs.
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment on development milestones, risks, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Partner with marketing and sales on positioning, pricing, and go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Enable successful product launches through sales enablement, customer education, and marketing campaigns.

Portfolio Management & Optimization
  • Own portfolio performance management across the full lifecycle—from ideation through end‑of‑life.
  • Analyze segment attractiveness, competitive position, and regional performance.
  • Drive portfolio actions using strategies such as Core, Maintain, Harvest, and Exit.
  • Develop and implement portfolio blueprints, process improvements, and new business models.
  • Leverage 80/20 and data‑driven analysis to optimize profitability, margin, and delivery at material and customer levels.


Cross‑Functional & Stakeholder Leadership
  • Lead and influence cross‑functional teams including R&D, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and advocate for products and portfolio decisions.
  • Communicate strategy, performance, and priorities clearly to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Define and track KPIs related to revenue, margin, market share, customer satisfaction, and lifecycle health.
  • Conduct post‑launch and portfolio reviews to assess performance against business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, product enhancements, and operational improvements. Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or customer facing related roles
  • Proven track record in customer discovery, NPD execution, and NPI acceleration
  • Demonstrated experience owning product portfolio roadmaps and lifecycle decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
  • Experience developing business cases, financial models, and investment recommendations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence at multiple organizational levels.
