HSE Engineer II

Job Description

As a HSE Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for supporting and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe and sustainable workplace. You will contribute to risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits while collaborating with various departments to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

You will report directly to our management team and you’ll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on an on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the organization by helping to maintain a safe working environment, protecting employees, assets, and the environment, and supporting Honeywell’s commitment to sustainability and regulatory compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the development and execution of HSE strategies and programs that align with organizational goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.


Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • 3 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
  • Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits
  • Familiarity with HSE management systems and regulatory compliance requirements
